This Sunday I spent the afternoon at my eight-year-old niece’s birthday party. As with last year, her mom hired an inflatable water slide, which seemed to be even more popular this time around – especially with bubble bath in abundant supply. In the three hours I was there I saw the kids take but three breaks from the slide and bubbles fun - the treasure hunt for goodie bags in the garden, to wolf down lunch and to sing happy birthday and enjoy ice cream cake.
The other activity of choice on the afternoon was the foefie slide (zip line to non South Africans).
I’ll be featuring photos from the party for the rest of the week, but today I thought I’d try something I haven’t done for a while, a caption challenge:
Some photos tell a story all on their own – no explanation needed. BUT, today I am laying down the challenge to you, my small band of readers, to help caption the photo below. Have fun. Be creative. Think outside of the box bubbles. (If you receive my blog by mail, you will need to pop on over to the site to jot down your caption).

‘zip line’?
Okay, sorry, don’t know what it is in British English… Flying fox? Hey, that could even work for this caption: “Hello! Flying kitty.”
Oh you mean a Commando Slide, a Rope Slide?
I’ll post photos of it tomorrow just to make it clear!
Oh no! I’m floating away on some bubbles!
Bubble trouble
“Look Mom! I DO know how to ride a pony..you put your hands like this..and keep your head down….”
