Weekly Photo Challenge: Beyond

“Do you have a photo which invites the viewer to look beyond? Are there hidden depths in the background? Is the focal point just a framing for the rest of the picture?”

I’m still blogging photos from my holiday this December / January. I hope these photos fit the bill for this week’s challenge.

whoa, the yellow kayak photo is striking!

  8. These are really wonderful shots. Now that I have a new camera (Canon PowerShot SX240 HS), I must try more “beyond” shots. I’m also getting a second hand Nikon CoolPix 8800 in June from my step-dad. I know you’re into Nikon. My first digital was very lame, so I’m very happy for the upgrades.

You may know me in the blogosphere as "madderinmada", "Rambling with a Cantankerous old mule" or "Vicissitudes of a Cantankerous old mule". But that's all changed and here I am living life from behind my camera lens.

Welcome. I hope you enjoy the visit.
