Things children say: about being homeschooled

Numbers 2 & 1

Brother #1 and brother #2, both of whom are homeschooled, heard talking the other day about some friends who recently left home to go to boarding school:

#1: “Boarding school is a terrible idea! Imagine living at school?!?”

#2: “We do!”

I miss the days of homeschooling my girls…they are now off at college and I’m left to teach my dogs some new tricks.

For someone like me in the thick of it all……it is very encouraging to hear that you miss homeschooling!

We home schooled our kids for some years, and several of our grandkids either were or are being home schooled. I went to a boarding school for missionaries’ children for 5th through 8th grade and loved it, but each child’s experience is different. I enjoy your blog.

I'd love to hear from you. Please leave a comment.

You may know me in the blogosphere as "madderinmada", "Rambling with a Cantankerous old mule" or "Vicissitudes of a Cantankerous old mule". But that's all changed and here I am living life from behind my camera lens.

Welcome. I hope you enjoy the visit.
