Formerly 'Rambling with a cantankerous old mule"

Aerobics, a little rest and an engrossing tale

Yesterday I watched with amusement the children’s church in full cry. It started with exercise (to get rid of some of their energy, I suppose), then they moved on to a short rest period, followed by a teaching, and finally a DVD (about Joseph, I think).

In the middle of it all I heard one little girl sigh, “This is so boring.”

“What?” I asked her. “Sunday school?”

“No, the exercise,” she answered. “Exercise is always boring.”

I wonder if she had heard her mother say something along those lines?

As the official photographer, I lined up along with the kids to get some tasty treats at the end of the lesson but was promptly sent to the back of the queue. Not fair!

Children’s church aerobics

Hands in the air, and then down, and …

… wave them all about …

Upside down

After exercise, rest

True rest? I wonder if he’ll wake up for the teaching?

Thumbs up! I know the answer!

Your story’s so interesting!

A bit young for kids’ ministry, but loving just being there…

DVD time … Engrossed

Still engrossed

Cool story, right?

You may know me in the blogosphere as "madderinmada", "Rambling with a Cantankerous old mule" or "Vicissitudes of a Cantankerous old mule". But that's all changed and here I am living life from behind my camera lens.

Welcome. I hope you enjoy the visit.
