So y’all – no words from me to explain my pics, but how about you guess what these are (just leave your guesses in the comments section). And please don’t tell me the first photo is “bubbles”. I need specifics, people. Specifics!

They called me weed
I have been blogging here since around April 2011 - my little place on the blogosphere to express myself creatively. As a teenager I used to write a diary - in fact, as a 17-year-old living in Belgium, I wrote religiously every day. Fortunately the Internet didn't exist back then because my ramblings as a teenager were ever-so-slightly dark, cynical and depressing. You won't find much of that here. Also, mostly, I try not to get too deep or philosophical in this forum - I'd like my photography to uplift and inspire, and, where I can, I try to bring a bit of humour into my writing too. I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively and have made many friends across the globe. This is my spot to keep in touch with them.

First Great idea and I might have to steal it.. LOVE IT. I actually suck at this but it was very fun to guess. Great pictures as well..
1. Coffee 2. An elephant (part of tail) 3. older accountant machine(calculator) 4. Rock in water or back of an animal. 5. Jewel or stone hanging from review mirror.
First is head on a glass of beer, second is a rhino or elephant behind, third is an antique cash register, fourth is a hippo’s back, and five is sparkle from someone’s finger rings.
One hour after posting this and the best yet is 3 out of 5 … Although different people have guessed all the photos, one person hasn’t got them all correct. (Keep on guessing then.)

Hey there! That first bubble photo is stunning beyond stunning!!!!
1. A clay/pottery pot or bowl or garden ball. (The type that I hate touching!) Or a fire-oven-baked bread, but I am going with the clay/pottery.
2. “met ‘n stertjie van agter en ‘n stertjie van voor”
3. Type writer keys,
4. A rock that really looks like a hippo, but a rock none the less.
5. A wine glass, I am actually leaning more to a martine-type glass, caught in good light!

These are fantastic images-whatever they are! These are my “guesses”. First one – coke (was going to say badly made coffee!), second, and elephant? Third -well it LOOKS like an old typewriter but with those double digit numbers? Old cash register? The next, a hippo (not going to try to spell it!). The last is hard- looking up at the sun through drops of water??? It was fun trying, anyway:)

I definitely see a latte (to be specific) and an elephant’s bottom. LOL. I love macro photography. I definitely need a macro lens. Until then, it’s the nifty 50 for me. (Although I definitely cannot get that close!)
