Photo Riddle #6

According to Google a riddle is a question intentionally phrased to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer. I figure I can call this post a riddle, even though I’m not actually asking a question… The way this works is simple: you need to guess what these photos are. They are all as taken, or SOOC (that is, no post editing – no colour correction, no cropping, or anything else.)

What ‘s the point? I just think that we can become so jaded and indifferent to the world around us, by the commonplace, mundane things we see every day, that we stop really seeing them.  I love discovering details, discovering beauty in everyday subjects…

Do you think you can identify these objects, all of which were shot today, Sunday 5 February 2012? If yes, leave your answers in the comments section below…

(The photo above is not part of the challenge. It’s obvious that it’s a very spiky, fat, green worm) I”ll post the answers in a few days, as well as the name of the riddle winner.

From my Canadian perspective – given that I thought the very first spiky green photo was a cactus, I’m not even going to guess what anything else is in your South African world!
